Attorney General Phil Weiser sues to halt new immigrant detention camp in Hudson

RMIAN applauds Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser for filing a lawsuit in federal court today to halt the proposed immigration detention center in Hudson, Colorado. If allowed to open, this detention center would nearly double immigration detention in Colorado. Every day RMIAN sees the devastating impact of immigration detention on individuals, families, and our state as a whole. RMIAN adamantly opposes and condemns the opening of this immigration detention facility, or any other immigration detention facility in Colorado.
