Luis Antezana Alba

Founder and CEO of Juntos2College

Luis Antezana Alba was born in Bolivia, raised in Los Angeles, adopted by Colorado. He is an indigenous-descendant, undocumented entrepreneur, and an educator at heart. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the Honors College at the California State University of Los Angeles. His professional career began as an educator in Colorado Springs, teaching high school Language Arts and AVID. Luis then shifted his focus on college access for Seniors as a Denver Scholarship Foundation College/Career Advisor at Abraham Lincoln High School. Today, Luis is the founder and CEO of Juntos2College, a non-profit organization helping undocumented families access upward mobility. He also serves as a founding member of the New Americans Council Advisory Committee with the state of Colorado. With 7+ years of experience, Luis has worked with hundreds of immigrant students and families to help guide them through state financial aid (CASFA), private scholarships (including helping over a dozen students receive the DREAM.US scholarship), career exploration, ITIN support, entrepreneurship, and the DACA process. Luis is a global speaker and is often sought out to consult with educators, school leaders, startup founders, and legal teams to support individual families. For his efforts toward education equity, Luis was recognized with the Teach for America 2018 Colorado Springs Alumnus of the Year award. Most recently, Luis received the 2022 Immigrant Liberty Award (RMIAN). In his downtime, Luis enjoys spending time with family, reading books, and dancing cumbias.
